10% of Voters in Iran Take Part in Azerbaijan’s Presidential Vote
Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 October/ Trend , corr T. Jafarov/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Iran Abbasali Hasanov said Azerbaijani presidential vote in Azerbaijan's Embassy in Tehran began at 08:00a.m Iran time.
About 10% of voters have already voted, Hasanov said.
"We have sent buses to take Azerbaijani students in Gum city of Iran to the polling station and we are waiting for their arrival," he added.
A total of 252 Azerbaijani citizens have been registered in the consulate department of the Embassy and election notifications have been circulated among them.
"About 200 students have been registered by the Consulate," Hasanov said to Trend by telephone.
