Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 October / Trend , corr. S.Kazimli/ A man, who misappropriated a large quantity of money from Azerbaijani company, was detained.
In 2004, Rovshan Abbasov, 30, an employee in the Ilkin ltd company, betrayed of company's confidence, and misappropriated AZM 20,155,075 - previous currency (AZN 4,000) from the company, the Police Station in Banagadi district of Baku, reported to Trend .
In 2005, Abbasov was announced in search for his crime.
As a result of operative and search measures, which were held by police officers of Binagadi district, Abbasov was detained in Makhachkala City in the Dagestan Republic of Russia on 20 October and was extradited to Baku.
A criminal case has been filed over the fact on the Articles 178.2.3 and 178.2.4 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
If the guilty of the accused is proven he will be fined from 3,000 or 5,000 minimum size of remuneration of labour or he will be imprisoned from three to seven years of imprisonment.
