Some People Committing Crime in Western Azerbaijan Arrested Abroad
Azerbaijan, Ganja, 31 October / Trend corr. V.Mammadov / Some people, who committed crime in the Azerbaijani western city of Ganja (365km of Baku), were arrested in foreign countries, Faig Mahmudov, an inspector of the Ganja City Police Department, told Trend on 31 October.
Gurbanov Magsud, 32-year old resident of Ganja city, was the first arrested person, Mahmudov said. He ran away injuring two people with knife at Nur cafe in Ganja in 2004.
Officers of the Ganja City Police Department arrested Gurbanov, on whom a lawsuit was filed in accordance with Article 126.1 (willful injury to health) of the Criminal Code, in Moscow city of Russia during operations.
Another criminal case took place 13 years ago - in 1995. Residents of Ganja, including 41-year old Musayev Jeyhun and 44-year old Nazarov Zahid, plundered Shakir Allahverdiyev's house in Ganja.
They injured owner of the house and took away a thing at AZN 5,000 amount.
The police officers arrested Nazarov, one of criminals, in Kiev city of Ukraine as a result operation and investigation measures and a lawsuit was filed on him in accordance with Article 145 (illegal imprisonment) of the Criminal Code. At present Musayev is under search.
