Ossetian Militants Continue Abducting Georgians

Georgia, Tbilisi, 3 November / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Six Georgians were abducted by the Ossetian separative bands in Georgian Gori region. Local residents of Kirvali village were kidnapped, while they were chopping firewood.

The wood-cutters went to forest in the morning. Villagers became to look for the wood-cutters in the evening. However, they found only their tools in the place of chopping of firewood.

For the time being, nobody has contacted with the families of abducted people, while they believe that Ossetins will demand exchange of their relatives to two Ossetins, who were detained by Georgian police 

for drug sale.

Earlier, Ossetian militants abducted six Georgian wood-cutters, residing in Zerti village of Gori region, but managed to escape. They told that abductors wanted to exchange them to Ossetian drug dealers.
