Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 November/ Trend , corr R. Novruzov/ The United States will further focus on the development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan and new US government will only change ways of achieving goals, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse said to journalists.
The preliminary results of the US presidential election are already available. Candidate from Democrat Party Barack Obama won the election, CNN reported.
The goal will remain unchanged, precisely, achieving peace and stability in the region, Ambassador said in the ceremony of celebration of outcome of US presidential election.
Derse said the key focus for the United States in the region is the development of bilateral relations in terms of energy security, development of democracy and stability in the region.
Azerbaijan will further have a prominent place in the US foreign policy, Derse said. .
