Georgia, Tbilisi, 76 November/ Trend , corr N. Kirtskhalia/ International conference European Strategy for South Caucasus will be held in Tbilisi on 6 November. The conference has been organized by South Caucasus regional bureau of Heinrich Bell Foundation and Bertelsmann Fund.
The organizers say this is first step on the path of strategic cooperation between Europe and South Caucasus.
According to Heinrich Bell Foundation, this cooperation aims at filling up the gap that appeared towards South Caucasus in wake of Georgian-Ossetian conflict. The conference which will last until 7 November will focus on impact of war on democratic processes in the region and foreign policy line of the countries in the South Caucasus.
Politicians and experts from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and European countries will attend the conference. The participants of the conference also include Georgian Minister for Re-integration Temur Yakobashvili, leader of Republican Party Tina Khidashvili and Nino Burjanadze, president of Democratic Development Fund of Georgia.
