Georgia, Tbilisi, 12 November / corr Trend N. Kirtzkhalia / The European observers unambiguously uphold an opinion that Russian belligerent troops and Ossetian bands must not hang around in the territory of Georgia. Otherwise this will be the obvious violation of the Sarkozi-Medvedev agreement," Temur Yakobashvili, the state minister of Georgia on reintegration, said after a meeting with the head of EU observers, Hans York Huber.

The format of the further cooperation with EU observers and the participation of the observers in the hot points were discussed at the meeting.

"We see the new strategy of Russia, which is comprised of private deals on Perevi and Akhalgori. The essential issue for us is to protect our population. We want Russia to fulfill its obligation and withdraw its troops from Georgia," Yakobashvili said.
