Georgian President to Make Speech at PA NATO Autumn Session

Georgia, Tbilisi, 14 November / Trend corr. N.Kirtzkhalia / Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will participate at the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of NATO in the Spanish city of Valencia. Head of the Georgian state will make speech at a meeting of PA NATO on 18 November and present Georgia's view on Russia's fulfillment of ceasefire agreement.

Georgia believes that Russia does not fulfill terms of the Sarkozy-Medvedev agreement and does not withdraw its troops to position on 7 August.

President Saakashvili will go into detail on issue of Georgia's integration into NATO, as well. In December Georgia and Ukraine wait for answer on their request to get MAP in the North Atlantic Alliance.

Dmitriy Rogozin, a Russian representative at NATO, did not get permission to make speech at a meeting of the PA NATO. He regards the fact, that Georgia will present one-sided view on this problem, as discrimination.
