Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 Dec. / Trend , corr. A.Huseynbala/There are contradictory moments in the project, which was developed for a new model of cooperation among the Azerbaijani opposition.

"The project envisages cooperating among political parties, public organizations and political forces and to consider positions which have certain contradictions on political issues," Arif Hajili, the head of the Central Executive Agency of the opposition Musavat party, said to Trend .

Musavat and Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan developed projects on further cooperation among opposition.

At early September, parties included in the Azadlig bloc the (the Popular Front Party, the Liberal Party and the Citizen and Development), the Musavat Party and the Public Forum 'For Azerbaijan'  signed a joint statement on recognition of the presidential elections to be held on 15 October as illegitimate. Government to be formed after the presidential elections is announced illegitimate in the statement.

Talks began after the election to create a large coalition of opposition. But mutual accusations hinder establishment of a larger coalition.

According to Hajili, there are possibilities to create wider opposition coalition in the project, developed by Musavat. "Musavat, which is represented in the Azadlig, public organizations and different associations, may join our union," Hajili said.

Hajili considers that the document developed by the People Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) envisages creation of united political organization, which reflects almost all aspects of domestic and external policy: "There is a term in the document, which shows that parties will assume huge responsibilities. For example, if Musavat" enters into the organization, it will actually be forced to conduct the policy, which corresponds the will of very small group," Hajili said.

The oppositional Musavat party was founded in 1992. Isa Gambar, the present Chairman of the Party was the Ex-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) in 1992 to1993 and was nominated for the 2003 presidential elections. The Party is represented by five MPs in the parliament.
