Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan, Dec. 12/ Trend , E.Mammadov/ The sixth session of Supreme Majlis (Assembly) of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) will be called on Dec. 16, Trend regional correspondent reported.
A new session will focus on discussions of results of social and economic development of Nakhchivan AR in 2008, approval of 2009 public budget and budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2009.
Moreover, an issue to inject changes and supplements into the Law on Elections to Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan AR will be included in agenda.
An authorized representative for human rights (ombudsman) of Nakhchivan AR will make report at the session.
Nakhchivan AR is the only autonomous republic of Azerbaijan. NAR was in blockade after the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in 1988.
