Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 12 / Trend , A.Huseynbala/ Azerbaijan and Iran will examine opportunities of military and technical cooperation. Defense Ministers of both countries will discuss expansion of military and technical cooperation during a Baku visit of Mustafa Muhammad Nejar, the Iranian Defense Minister, Nasir Hamidi Zare, the Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told journalists on Dec. 12.
The visit will be realized soon, the Ambassador said.
Azerbaijan and Iran cooperate within the framework of the signed agreement on military and technical cooperation. The Iranian Defense Minister visited Azerbaijan in 2006.
Azerbaijan possesses an agreement on military and technical cooperation with more than 20 countries and cooperates with more than 50 countries in this field.
