New Georgian Defence Minister meets with American servicemen
Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec.16 / Trend , corr. N.Kirtskhalia /The U.S. servicemen including Vice Colonel Poll Reilly, mayor Matthew Atkis, and chief of the U.S. bilateral aid office mayor Arthur Heisman, visited the Georgian Defence Ministry.
Among the guests there were also the team leader of advisors of the defence sphere of the U.S. General Ronald Mangum and his assistants - Randy Williams and Bill Kreyven, the Defence Ministry of Georgia reported.
From the Georgian side the meeting was attended by Defence Minister David Sikharulidze, first Deputy Minister Bath Kuteliya, Deputy Minister Giorgi Muchaidze and head of the Department of Foreign Relations and European integration NinoBakradze.
The head of the collaboration service in the defence sphere of the U.S. acquainted those being present with the basic directions of Georgian- American collaboration in the sphere of safety, determined during the consultations, which passed in the states. Paul Ryles represented the plan of the collaboration of ministries in 2009.
Sikharulidze thanked guests for shown help in the sphere of defence. He expressed hope for rendering aid in development of documents for formation, military doctrine and others. The sides agreed that similar encounters will acquire the regular nature
