Japan to render financial support to restore social infrastructure in regions of Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.17 / Trend , corr. N.Abdullayeva / Japan will render financial support to restore the social infrastructure in regions in Azerbaijan.
Japan and four Azerbaijani NGOs signed contract on four projects within the 'Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Program'.
The contracts were signed by Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki from the Japanese side and by directors of four NGOs in charge of aforementioned projects from Azerbaijani side.
The projects envisage construction of Medical Point in Husulu village in Agjabadi region, construction of Primary Health Care Centre in Talalar village of Balakan region, improvement of Obstetric and Gynecological Department in Ivanovka village of Ismayilli region and renovation of Emergency Unit of Ganja City Emergency Medical Assistance Hospital in Ganja City.
Total amount of the Japanese Grant Assistance including the projects this time is $346.417.
