Ukraine’s fraction of Communist Party to vote for resignation of government and to promote President’s impeachment

Ukraine, Kiev, Jan. 13/ Trend Z. Novsvitski/ The fraction of Communist Party of Ukraine (CPU) will vote for resignation of the government and promote to launch procedure of Ukrainian President's impeachment, Petr Simonenko, leader of the fraction told media in his interview.

The Parliamentary fraction of this party is ready for triggering resignation of the Ukrainian government headed by Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko, Victor Yanukovich, leader of oppositional Party of Regions, said on Jan. 12.

The CPU fraction also stands for resignation of both the President and the government, Simonenko said.

The fraction is also ready for supporting those "who will offer today concrete staff of the government responsible for the situation in the country," Simonenko said.

Presently, resignation of the government is impossible, Volodymyr Litvin, chairman of the Supreme Rada, said on Jan. 12.
