Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb.3 / Trend corr N. Kirtzkhalia / Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze doesn't exclude that Russia will put a veto on the UN Security Council resolution regarding the August conflict. However, work in this direction is important.

"Georgia should do her utmost to keep the UN mission in the country. Georgia will not let the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution similar to the document in 1993," Vashadze said at a joint meeting of parliamentary committees on integration to Europe, international relations and emigrants.

The minister thinks that the resolution should exactly include the support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia. "It should include necessity for extension of the UN mission and return of refugees to their lands," the minister said.
