The Georgian Association of Young Lawyers will file 49 lawsuits at the European Court on Human Rights in Strasbourg to protect the interests of 340 refugees who suffered in the Russian-Georgian war, Chairman Tamar Khidasheli said at a press conference.
Lawyers from partner organizations such as the European Center for Human Rights and Justice Initiative for Russia will help file the lawsuits.
If the association wins the cases, Russian will pay compensation for moral and material damage.
