A delegation on Georgian-EU parliamentary cooperation will head for Brussels on Feb. 16. The delegation will take part in a meeting of the European Parliament South Caucasus Relations Committee.

The Georgian parliament reported that the parliamentary delegation is headed by European Integration Committee Chairman David Darchiashvili.

All urgent political issues concerning Georgia will be covered at the meeting. The Georgian delegation is likely to suggest changing the format of the European Parliament South Caucasus Relations Committee. The committee covers three countries - Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Darchiashvili suggests establishing a separate committee for Georgia, as Georgian-EU relations have entered a new phase.
