Lavrov, Clinton to consider Georgian issue in first official meeting: foreign minister
Georgia, Tbilisi, Mar. 2 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will discuss Georgia during their first official meeting, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said at a briefing on March 2.
Four important issues, including disarmament, Afghanistan and Iran and European security strategies proposed by Russian President Dimitry Medvedev will be considered at the meeting on March 6, Russian media reported.
"Russian media write about discussing [Europe's] security structure, but this is ridiculous," Vashadze said.
