President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev has today attended opening of the State Frontier Service`s military unit, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed the military unit`s gym and assembly hall. Supreme Commander visited the training center where the personnel learn how to use various kinds of weapons.
Supreme Commander saw the photographs depicting activities of the State Frontier Service. Then, Azerbaijani leader met with soldiers here.
President became familiar with the shooting-ground and saw equipment and hardware here.
The Head of State viewed military exercises. President Ilham Aliyev got familiarized with the canteen.
Supreme Commander also visited the military unit`s museum where he saw photographs and books reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s attention and care for development of frontier troops.
The Head of State visited the hostel for officers. The Head of State saw the modern weapons here.
