Upon the order by the Mayor of Almaty City, Ardak Zhalpasbeeva was appointed as the chief specialist of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan on Almaty.
Zhalpasbeeva told Trend correspondent that Almaty is the megalopolis, the representatives of majority of 130 nationalities of Kazakhstan live here.
"In the Almaty department, we approved works on several programs and measures. In the honor of the Novruz Holiday, a large program will be organized within which a concert will take place with the participation of the representatives of culture centers of the of Meskheti Turks, Azerbaijanis, Tatars, Uigurs, Russians, Uzbeks, Germans, Greeks and other peoples, and also examples from the national cuisine and weaving will be demonstrated," said Zhalpasbeeva.
