Web cameras to be installed at Gakh polling stations

Web cameras will be installed at four polling stations in Gakh, Azerbaijan.

Gakh Constituency No. 112 Chairman Abdulkarim Aliyev told Trend that the constituency covers 54 polling stations.

"The polling stations have been equipped with the necessary facilities. All the arrangements have finished," Aliyev told Trend on March 11. "The constituency registered 38,314 electorates."

Gakh is located in northwestern Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan will hold a referendum on March 18 to amend the Constitution.

Web cameras will be installed at 500 polling stations on referendum day.

The Central Election Committee (CEC) registered the New Azerbaijan, Shahar, Tereggi, Huquq Va Demokratiya, Vatandash Jamiyyati, For Long-Term Development, Zaka, Movement For Karabakh and the Republic and Republicans referendum initiative groups.

The Azerbaijani Constitution was adopted in 1995. Amendments and additions were made in 2002.

The Gakh Constituency No. 112 registered 9 agitation groups and 495 monitors.
