Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received ex-Chairman of the French Senate Christian Poncelet on March 16, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Poncelet said he is impressed by the significant development that he witnessed in Azerbaijan.
Aliyev noted Poncelet's role in the development of friendly Azerbaijan-France relations and voiced his confidence that Poncelet will further maintain ties with Azerbaijan.
