Average of 43 percent of Azerbaijani citizens vote in Uzbekistan by midday

An average of 43 percent of Azerbaijani citizens voted by midday in Tashkent, Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan Second Secretary Ramil Akparov told Trend .
Azerbaijan is holding a referendum on March 18 to amend the Constitution.
"One constituency was opened in Tashkent," Akparov said.
The embassy has compiled a list of Azerbaijanis in Uzbekistan who have the right to vote.
"A total of 83 Azerbaijanis were registered in Uzbekistan," Akparov added.
The voting began at 08:00 in the morning. Thirty-six people already voted by midday.
The Azerbaijani Constitution was adopted in 1995. Amendments and additions were made in 2002.
