Turkey is observing the referendum in Azerbaijan and will support any outcome, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic told journalists.
"Turkey will support any outcome as it will be the choice of the Azerbaijani people," he said.
Azerbaijan is holding a referendum on March 18 to amend the Constitution.
Turkey observed preparations for the referendum and will monitor the election process, Kilic said.
The referendum campaign began on Feb. 18 and finished on March 16 at midnight. A total of 23,000 manat was allocated to every agitation group to campaign.
The Azerbaijani Constitution was adopted in 1995. Amendments and additions were made in 2002.
