32.95-percent voter turnout in Ganja at 12:00 local time

There has been high voter turnout in Ganja since noon. Ganja is located 365 kilometers outside Baku.

About 32.89 percent or 48,147 of 147,654 voters have voted as of 12:00 local time.

There are four constituencies in Ganja - constituencies No. 37, 38, 39 and 40 - and 110 polling stations.

Over 1,000 local observers are monitoring the vote in Ganja.

Web cams have been installed at 26 polling stations.

Today, Azerbaijan is holding a referendum to amend 29 articles of the Constitution.

Azerbaijani referendum groups launched campaigning on Feb. 18. The campaign ended at 00:00 on March 16. Each referendum group was allocated 23,000 manat to campaign.

The Constitution was adopted in 1995. Amendments and additions were made in 2002.
