Over 50 kilograms of narcotics were seized in southern Azerbaijan in the last three months.
A total of 25 drug-trafficking-related crimes occurred in the past three months, the Interior Ministry's Central Department for Combating Drugs' regional offices told Trend .
Roughly 32 kilograms of marijuana, 12 kilograms of heroin, 177 grams of opium and two grams of psychotropic drugs were seized.
Eight individuals have been arrested. One is an Iranian citizen.
About 45 grams of narcotics were seized in Bilasuvar, 5 kilograms in Yardimli and 133 grams in Lankaran.
