Cooperation prospects with UAE discussed in Astana

Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament Kasimzhomart Tokayev received extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kazakhstan Hassan Saif on April 23, the Kazakh Senate said. "The sides were satisfied with bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and UAE during the meeting," press-release said.
The recent official visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to UAE gave a new impulse to development of inter-state relations, K. Tokayev said during the meeting.
Presently, state agencies actively operate to implement agreements reached during top-level talks, press-release said.
Stressing necessity in establishment relations on the inter-parliamentary level, speaker voiced cooperation with Federal National Meeting of UAE and invited members of Federal National Meeting to visit Kazakhstan. He hoped for participation of UAE delegation in the work of III meeting of world and traditional religions leaders to be held at top level in Astana on July 1-2.
In his turn, ambassador said that active actions on implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the Kazakh President to UAE are being taken in the country. Ibrahim Hassan Saif agreeing with necessity in stirring up inter-parliamentary contacts invited speaker to visit his country on behalf of Federal National Meeting head, press-release said.Do you have any feedback?
