President of Azerbaijan received French ambassadors accredited in CIS countries
On Wednesday President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received French ambassadors accredited in CIS countries, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
In his welcoming speech, President Aliyev noted the successful developing links between Azerbaijan and France in many fields. In his speech also talked about the recent achievements of Azerbaijan in the field of economic development and international investment in its economy. It was also addressed to the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement and the role of France in it.
In his response speech, Deputy Director of the Office for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France Eric Millet, thanked the President of Azerbaijan for the reception and stressed the importance of Azerbaijan for France as a partner.
