Azerbaijan and Syria have signed five papers on bilateral cooperation. The papers were signed on July 8 as part of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's official visit to Baku, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The papers include an "Agreement on releasing holders diplomatic and special passports from visa," "Agreement on Cooperation in the field of culture", "Memorandum of Understanding to establish an intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation," "Agreement on Cooperation in the industrial and energy fields" and "Agreement on promotion and reciprocal protection of investments".
