EU high representative presents condolences to families of people died in air crash in Iran

EU high representative for the common foreign policy Javier Solana presented his condolences to families and relatives of people died as a result of airbus crashed in Iran, EU official message said. 

"I took information about passenger airbus with more than 150 people on the board crashed north-west of Iran with deep sorrow. I would like to express my sincere condolences to families of victims, as well as the Iran's government," Solana said.

There were 153 passengers and 15 crew members on the board of aircraft crashed on July 15. Iran's Caspian Airlines owned the aircraft. All 168 people died.

Aircraft was fully wrecked. Attempt was made to commit crash landing, MEHR said.

There is no concrete information about passengers died as a result of catastrophe. There will be information in the nearest hours, press-secretary of Iran's civil aviation organization said.
