U.S vice-president Joseph Biden's appreciation towards democracy and Georgian reforms was positive, speaker of the parliament David Bakradze told media.
He said that Biden's comments were symptomatic when he said "welcome to democracy" commenting opposition actions in Georgia.
"Regarding reforms, Georgian leadership is sure to understand if these reforms are suspended, Georgia will return to principles that were 10 years ago. Our development was only in reforms," Bakradze said.
"It should be noted that all statements of U.S vice-president concern not only the president, chairman of Georgian parliament but entire society. All of us must follow democracy together," speaker said.
