The Parliament of Georgia held the last extraordinary meeting today and went on summer vacation.

Speaker David Bakradze thanked the MPs for their active work in the extraordinary form and declared the session closed.

Officially, the spring session of parliament ended on the last Friday of June. However, due to the fact that more than a month the parliamentarians were not able to work under normal conditions due to the massive protests, according to a presidential decree, extraordinary meetings were arranged.

Upon the Constitution, the autumn session starts on the first Tuesday in September.
