The Georgian Parliament approved candidature of Paata Kalandadze for Georgian ambassador to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at a plenary meeting on September 11.

The Georgian Parliament approved candidature of Paata Kalandadze for Georgian ambassador to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at a plenary meeting on September 11.

Up to now, Georgia has temporary plenipotentiary in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Zurab Kozmava fulfilled these responsibilities.

At present, Paata Kalandadze takes position of director of consulate department of the Georgian foreign ministry. He worked as consul in the Georgian embassy to Israel in 1998, advisor and Georgian extraordinary and plenipotentiary envoy to Benelux countries and Georgian representation to EU over 2002-2006.
