Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev congratulated his Croatian counterpart Stjepan Mesic on the national holiday - Independence Day, the state AzerTaj news agency reported on Oct.7.
The Azerbaijani President expressed hope that the friendly relations and partnership between the two countries will continue to evolve and expand in accordance with the interests of the Azerbaijani and Croatian peoples.
"On this significant day, I wish you and the Croatian people prosperity," Aliyev said.
