The second meeting on political consultations between the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of South Korea took place in Seoul.
As part of political consultations, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov met with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of South Korea Kwon Jong-rak and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Lee Eng Juneau, the press service of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Oct. 10.
During political consultations, the sides discussed the issues of cooperation on political issues, mutual official visits at high level, exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral cooperation within international organizations.
At the same time, consultations covered the bilateral cooperation on economic issues, possible cooperation in energy, natural resources, information technology, construction, transport, tourism and agriculture.
The consultations also focused on prospects of cooperation between the two countries on science, education and culture.
Also, discussions were held on the situation in the regions, which Azerbaijan and South Korea are located.
