Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the Egyptian Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Mohammed Al-Arab, on Oct.23, the ministry told Trend .
During the meeting, the sides discussed the results of meetings of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the organization's activities and future plans.
The sides said that the high level of the Azerbaijan-Egypt relations opens new possibilities for their expansion. Particularly, the countries have a vast experience in mining and processing of energy resources, which makes it appropriate to put to the forefront of the mutual exchange of experience in this and other areas.
The talks centered on the processes in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
