Appereance of opposition leader at the XVI International Festival and Exhibition of news agencies and the press in Tehran has caused great excitement and commotion.

The chief adviser to former presidential candidate in Iran, Mir-Hussein Musavi - Alirza Husseini Behishti visited the exhibition on the 7th day.

Behishti appearance at the exposition was the occasion that the supporters of opposition leader chanted slogans against the current president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejat "Death to the dictator" and "Death to Russia!", "Long live Musawi and Karrubi," "You are under our patronage! . In protest against these, slogans voiced by supporters of Ahmadinejad criticise Karrubi, shouting "Death to hypocrite!"

Security service of the Exhibition surrounded opposition leader and his closest supporters and led from the room to prevent collisions.

A similar situation which brought riots, took place at the exhibition two days earlier. Then, during a visit to the International Exhibition of ex-presidential candidate of Iran Mehdi Karrubi clashes happend. As a result of the intervention of security Karrubi was removed from the exhibition salon.
