Azerbaijan, Baku, October 31 / Trend A. Huseynbala /

The bloc including several Azerbaijani opposition parties, does not want to announce its decision concerning the "Movement for Karabakh and Republic".

"We have discussed the situation in the movement several times. If we announce about a fair decision concerning this situation, activity of the "Movement for Karabakh and Republic" will be officially ceased," chairman of the Citizens and Development Party represented in the movement and the bloc Azadliq, Ali Aliyev, told Trend on October 31.

Musavat party, represented in the Movement for Karabakh and Republic, calls on Umid party to recall its members from election commissions. Umid party said that it will fulfill this requirement if members of Musavat's MP group refuse from their mandates. Tension between two parties was the reason of serious crisis in the movement.

Aliyev said that further activity of the movement depends on Azadliq bloc. But we do not announce our decision due to our political priorities. Though we decisive power, we have never had experience in destroying of opposition unions," chairman of the party said.

Other reason of non-disclosure of the bloc's decision is connected with possible restoration of cooperation in future, chairman of the party said.

"We think that this potential and opportunities have not been exhausted. We also think that differences between parties represented in the movement will be solved soon. The opposition will continue its activity in a broader staff," Aliyev said.

The movement is represented by People's Front party, the Citizens and Development party, Liberal party, Musavat party, Umid Party, Azerbaijani Democratic Party on the eve of the referendum on additions and changes made to the constitution held on March 18, 2009.
