Georgian and Czech FMs hold political talks

The Georgian and Czech foreign ministries held political consultations today. The sides discussed bilateral and multilateral relations, including Georgian-Czech cooperation in the framework of international organizations and Georgia's integration into the EU and Euro-Atlantic structures, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

The Georgian and Czech foreign ministries held political consultations today. The sides discussed bilateral and multilateral relations, including Georgian-Czech cooperation in the framework of international organizations and Georgia's integration into the EU and Euro-Atlantic structures, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

The sides noted importance of Georgia's cooperation with the EU in the framework of the Eastern Partnership, and discussed future Czech humanitarian and financial assistance aid.

The meeting also underscored the need to promote Georgian-Czech bilateral relations and regular meetings in various fields. Georgia also informed the Czech side about the situation in the conflict zones, political processes and ongoing reforms.

The Georgian side stressed the Czech Republic's support for Georgia's territorial integrity after the meeting.
