Iran will produce car that will be called "Azerbaijan". Production of this car will start from the next year, said the first deputy of Iranian President Muhammedrza Rahimi, Mehr news agency reported.
"The Iranian nation and all Muslims of the world are proud of the fact that the supreme leader of Iran is a native of Tabriz. During his visit to Tabriz, President Ahmadinejad gave a promise, one of which will soon be implemented. This is the promise associated with the production of automobiles "Azerbaijan", Rahimi said during his speech at the opening of Sufi cement plant in Tabriz.
According to him, the car "Azerbaijan" will be produced by Iran Khodro Company.
Scheduled for today, the visit of Iranian President to Tabriz was postponed to Thursday.
