Newly appointed Dutch Ambassador to Kazakhstan Frans Potuyt has taken office, embassy official Anastasia Shpakova told Trend today.
"After presenting his credentials to the Kazakh president, the new ambassador of the Netherlands took office in Astana," Shpakova said.
The Netherlands actively cooperates with Kazakhstan in energy, but also pays a great deal of attention to agriculture, dairy and poultry farming projects in Kazakhstan.
The Netherlands has been the largest investor in Kazakhstan's economy in the past few years.
