In his message to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow, Belgian King Albert II stressed that his country is interested in supporting and strengthening relations with Ashgabat.
Officer of the Order of the Crown Paul de Witte was appointed Belgian ambassador to the country. He presented his credentials to Turkmen Parliamentary Speaker Akja Nurberdiyeva.
"We believe he will perform his mission with great zeal and gain the confidence of your excellency," the king said.
Enex Process Engineering, headed by Koen Minne, is one of the most famous Belgian companies on the Turkmen market.
"The Turkmen market is developing dynamically. Certainly, it is attractive for investments," Minne recently told media.
His company operates in the Turkmen fuel and energy sector, processing and chemical industry, and telecommunications.
