Traffic on streets and avenues in Baku will be stopped in connection with the sixth anniversary of Azerbaijani all-national leader Heydar Aliyev's death, State Traffic Police Department Deputy Chief Alovsat Shamilov told journalist today. He said the traffic police will operate in an intensified regime Dec. 12.
Parliamentary Avenue will be fully blocked for car transport, Shamilov said.
Traffic will be restricted on M.Musfvig street. Transport will not pass from the intersection of Mushfig Street with Narimanov Avenue in the direction of television theater.
Traffic from the N. Narimanov Monument and Mushfig Street toward the Azizbekov Monument will also be closed. Neighboring roads leading to Parliamentary Avenue will be fully closed.
The security measures will begin at 05:00 Dec.12.
