Azerbaijani-American Council (AAC) expressed sympathy and solidarity with the people of Azerbaijan in connection with the 6th anniversary of the death of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev, the Council said.
AAC highlights Heydar Aliyev's significant contribution to building and strengthening independent Azerbaijani statehood. "His devotion to his people in the most difficult moments of life and his irreplaceable service for the prosperity of Azerbaijan will always be an example for future generations of Azerbaijanis," said the report.
"Being the author of the great words: "I am proud of that I am an Azerbaijani", Heydar Aliyev implemented this phrase in life, and now every Azerbaijani can be proud of independent and prosperous Azerbaijan," the report reads.
