Several spheres of cooperation, including increase of quota for training of Azerbaijani students in Astrakhan were discussed during the visit of Astrakhan delegation to Azerbaijan, the Astrakhan government head Konstantin Markelov said at a press-conference today.
He said that a quota hits 67 students per year.
"We also discussed cooperation with Azerbaijan in development and introduction of high technologies. There is a fleet in Astrakhan where these operations can be conducted," Markelov said.
During the meeting agreements on exchange of museum expositions and conducting scientific competitions with Astrakhan were achieved with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture, the Azerbaijani Youth Organization in Russia Astrakhan department head Irina Aliyeva said.
"At present, the parties exchange not only in creative work but in scientific sphere," she said.
