Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow has rebuked several deputy Prime-Ministers responsible for communication, agrarian sector, education and media, as well as heads of branches and regions at the last governmental meeting.

Official Turkmen source said that decrees were made mainly on results of 2009 and cotton toil.

Deputies Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nazarguly Shagulyev, Hojamuhammad Muhammadov, Hidir Saparliyev and Maysa Yazmuhammadov were rebuked "for non-fulfillment of necessary actions to correct shortages in the work of headed departments and weakening of control.

Governor of Lebap region Yagshymyrad Yayylov was rebuked for his inability to organize the work of agricultural producers at the proper level and the failure to implement a plan for the production of cotton, the decree said.

Head of Akhal region Danmyrad Myratberdiev was reprimanded for non-fulfillment of his duties at a proper level. A strict reprimand was made to Minister of Agriculture Esenmyrad Orazgeldiev for unsatisfactory execution of official duties.

Turkmencotton state concern chairman Hakmyrad Annamyradov was rebuked for unsatisfactory execution of duties, failure to establish contractual relationships with manufacturers of cotton at the appropriate level in 2009.

Moreover, the Turkmen Central Bank Guvanchmyrat Geklenov was rebuked for weakening of control over the activity of the banking system.

Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Senagat" chairman Eeberdi Ataev got a similar warning for the shortcomings in his work.
