The snowy weather in Azerbaijan has caused significant road problems.
Due to the weather conditions this morning, traffic in the direction of the Ismailli, Gabala, Gakh, Sheki, Guba and other regions has been limited, head of the State Traffic Police's (HDSTP) Head Department Arastun Mejidov told Trend .
"As a result of immediate actions taken by officers of road departments and the traffic police, traffic is being restored," Mejidov said.
Drivers are advised to limit the use of their vehicles due to the snow and ice, he said.
"Pedestrians must be careful," Mejidov added.
According to the official, no traffic accidents have not been registered today.
Snow fell in Baku on the night of Feb. 4.
According to the forecasts of the National Hydrometeorological Department, the snowy weather will continue until Feb. 8.
