The Tajik citizens, temporarily residing in Azerbaijan will be able to participate in the parliamentary elections and vote at the constituency, established under the Tajik embassy in Baku.
At present, the Embassy registered about 50 Tajik citizens temporarily residing and working in Azerbaijan including mainly embassy staffs and their families, as well as employees working by the contract, the Tajik embassy second Secretary Sharaf Rakhimov told Trend
Parliamentary elections and elections to local councils will be held Feb. 28, 2010. Sixty-three MPs will be elected in the Lower House of the Parliament including 41 from single-member constituencies, and 22 on Tajik political parties' lists per single national constituency
The constituency will be functioning within 10 days of the election day.
