Head of the Civil Registry Agency held today a presentation of database of voters submitted to the Central Election Commission on Feb. 1, 2010. Data included 3,677,795 citizens.

According to the head of the agency Giorgi Vashadze, at this stage the database includes 3,587,425 citizens with a right of vote.

The category of removed citizens includes people refugees from Abkhazia residing abroad, citizens of Georgia whose address of another country is only indicated and the dead.

This database has been presented to political parties, the diplomatic corps and representatives of international and local non-governmental organizations.

Today, the CEC Chairman Zurab Kharatishvili and head of the agency discussed the principles of electoral lists and their monitoring.

The CEC lists will provide any interested party or citizen with the database for monitoring. Presently, the monitoring includes 12 skilled and two unskilled persons.

Such briefings will be held weekly to inform the society on Tuesdays at 12 o'clock.
