Broadcasting in ethnic minorities' languages in the Georgian Public Broadcasting will start in the new format from March 1. Azerbaijani studio is also among them, which will broadcast in the Azerbaijani language.
The purpose of the new format is quickly broadcasting the events taking place in the country to the representatives of national minorities. Preparation of news for national minorities will be daily realized.
According to the First Channel leadership's decision, "Our Yard" TV program broadcasting on the television channel will be translated into the languages of ethnic minorities.
The sociological surveys have revealed necessity to transfer to a new format for national minorities.
